Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value
The curriculum at Sanskar International School lays strong emphasis on a constructivist approach where the child is the architect of her/his own knowledge. Underlining every learning topic is a concept-base which encourages children to see the connections between different subject areas. We believe that storytelling, play, learning musical instruments, dance and drama are as important for learning as science, mathematics and social science. In a week’s timetable, therefore, each area finds a place for itself. The bedrock of every lesson plan and activity is child centric and is designed with an intention that the student should derive excitement and pleasure in the classroom. Our learning will go beyond the walls of the classrooms and would involve a very healthy time spent in labs, activity areas comprising of dance lab, music room, craft studio and other such places specially designed to enthuse young minds.
